Attijariwafa bank Egypt recognizes the winners as a main sponsor for the Innovation Competition awards

Four winners out of 47 contestants won prizes with total of EGP300 Thousands

Workshops for skills development and exchange of expertise for all the participants

Atijjariwafa bank Egypt officials have announced the winners of the Innovation Arena Competition, which took place during Cairo ICT exhibition on December 3rd in New Cairo under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

It’s worth mentioning that Attijariwafa bank Egypt sponsorship did not only include participating in skills development and knowledge transfer to the contestants, nevertheless it also included offering financial support worth EGP 300 thousand  to the winners. The competitions were announced three months ago where more than 120 ideas were collected from diverse Egyptian governorates.

Additionally, the closing ceremony included the participation of 47 teams of young innovators with promising ideas in the fields of health, education, social media, smart villages,digital payment and electronic applications, which serves disabled people. All the participants have passed through successive elimination phases until selecting the final stage winners

The judging panel entailed leading corporate experts, university professors, academics and specialists including Nancy Bassiouny, Head of Digital Channels and Innovation of Attijariwafa bank Egypt. During selecting the final winners, the panel have undergone several discussion to choose them from the 47 contestants who partook in daily confrontations for four consecutive days to reach the best innovations.

The bank congratulates all the winners and participants in the competition assuring that all of them are considered winners given that they have benefited vastly from the workshops that was presented through the forum. It’s worth mentioning that that the foremost purpose of the forum was to sharpen their talents, expand their perceptions and exchange of knowledge and expertise. In addition, the bank reassures that innovation is considered a vital pillar since its inauguration in the Egyptian market.
