Attijariwafa bank opens six branches as part of its ambitious expansion plan  

Cairo, 4th of April 2019: During a celebration held at Kargo Mall branch, Attijariwafa bank Egypt announced the opening of its latest branches in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Dakahlia, and Minya; in addition to the renovation and enlargements of one of its main branches in the City of Mahala, as well as moving to a new branch in Damanhur in Beheira, and moving to a new branch in Zamalek.

 

The bank’s executive team attended the opening ceremony, headed by Ms. Halla Sakr, Attijariwafa bank Managing Director, in addition to the attendance of media delegates and a number of big customers.

 

On this occasion, Managing Director Halla Sakr commented, “We are delighted to be expanding our footprint as part of our growth strategy, and we are proud to be achieving these steps since the very beginning of our operations in the Egyptian market. We strive to offer our customers the best compelling services and products in a pursuit to support the financial inclusion initiatives launched by the Egyptian Government and the Central Bank of Egypt in order to ensure economic growth and sustainable development.” Sakr added.

Retail and Business Banking Director, Abderrafie Al Hashmi, stated, “We are committed to providing a unique banking experience to our customers. We are currently available in 17 Governorates, and we are implementing the bank’s five-year strategy that started with the opening of 6 branches in the first quarter of this year, and we will announce more openings during the year.” He concluded.

 

The inauguration of the new six branches of Attijariwafa bank Egypt comes in line with the bank’s ambitious expansion strategy, which aims to provide comprehensive banking services and to increase its customer base; and hence conveys the bank’s aspiration to become one of the top 10 leading banks in Egypt by the year 2022.
